What Are Personal Learning Networks?

Education and Training Daily

Vol. 16, No. 121

This article resonates with me. I am a firm believer of surrounding yourself with a good network. The author defines a Personal Learning Network as “a network of trusted connections with whom an individual interacts (and learns from) on a regular basis.” The author goes on to say a PLN serves three purposes: Connection Building, Connection Maintenance and Connection Activation. Then there is the CoPs and PLE. Lots of acronyms, but still an interesting read. Read more at What are Personal Learning Networks?
